Prosperity Commons

Prosperity Commons is our flagship project — a supportive housing campus in Winston-Salem providing up to 80 beds for residents rebuilding stability. Through partnerships and community support, Prosperity Commons combines housing with wraparound services designed for recovery and long-term success.

Workforce Pathways & Economic Mobility (Coming Soon)

At Prosperity Commons, housing is only the beginning. We are developing a comprehensive workforce training and economic mobility pathway designed to help men in recovery and sobriety move from stabilization to sustainable employment and long-term independence.

This initiative is currently in development and will launch through a combination of donor support, public funding, and strategic partnerships.

Life Skills & Financial Readiness

Workshops focused on budgeting, communication, conflict resolution, time management, and essential life skills that support workforce stability.

Case Management & Employment Coaching

Resume development, interview preparation, job placement support, benefits navigation, and one-on-one coaching to promote long-term success.

Workforce Training & Skilled Trades Development

Job-ready instruction in construction trades, electrical fundamentals, power tools, job-site safety, and hands-on maintenance skills — taught by licensed professionals and industry experts.

Remote Work & Digital Employment Opportunities

Preparation for customer service, virtual support, and other entry-level remote roles, paired with digital literacy support and technology access.

Why It Matters

Men exiting homelessness, incarceration, or recovery programs often face major barriers to employment — from gaps in work history to limited training and employer stigma. Without targeted support, many fall back into instability.

This program is designed to break that cycle by pairing housing + recovery support + employment pathways, helping residents build stable, independent lives.
